Mr. Willis Bowers, 84, of Franklin, VA, took his final rest on August 19, 2024. Willis was preceded in death by his parents Fleety and Catherine Bowers; siblings: Edith M. (Bowers) Mountcastle, Ethelrine Bowers, Benjamin Bowers Jr., James Thomas Bowers, Fleetice Boyd Bowers (Mozelle), Orice Saunders (Alphonsa), Spencer Bowers (Alice), Johnny Bowers, and Irene Dixon (John).

He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters; two sons; seven step children; nine granddaughters; ten grandsons; one sister; three brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; thirty-one great grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The viewing will take place on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Vaughan - Temple Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held in the Elvin Vaughan Memorial Chapel of Vaughan - Temple Funeral Home on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11 a.m. located at 1717 South St. in Franklin, VA 23851.
