Mr. Alvin Russell Peebles, 73, was born on May 11, 1953, in Boykins, Virginia, to the late Fletcher and Eunice Peebles. The Lord called Alvin home on June 15, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, Virginia.

Alvin previous marriages were blessed with children and from those unions he leaves to cherish his memory Renee Madden, Pamela Wheeler, Gregory Peebles, Marcellous Wormley, and Shamenna Peebles. He is survived by his loving aunts, Helen and Dorothy, along with a host of cousins, extended family members, dear friends, and loved ones throughout the Southampton County community.

There will be a memorial service held at 1 p.m. on July 11, 2026 in the chapel of Vaughan - Temple Funeral Home.
