Jannetta Andrea Williams was born to the late Jennifer Lettman and Jerry Little on October 22, 1981 at Greenpoint Hospital in Brooklyn N.Y. Jannetta attend Elementary school at P.S 110 until the second grade. She then moved to North Carolina and Virginia where she was able to get her G.E.D and Fork Lift License.
She had a passion for music, drawing, and cooking. She loved her hats and big clothes.
Jannetta was strong just like her mother. She was a courageous, stern, loving, and unapologetic woman. If you've ever had the privilege to be in her presence you'd know that she had a personality that left an everlasting impression.
To know her was to love her. She faced a lot of trials and tribulations throughout life, but always kept God by her side through it all. Her kids and family are what got her through. Jannetta later returned to N.Y and began working at G.E.O, she loved to work.
After having her last child, she returned to her home in the south where she married Rudy Council and to be closer to her children. Her children meant the world to her.
More recently she developed serious medical conditions, which made her go back and forth for treatment. Jannetta lived a full life even though it was cut short at the age of 42. She ran her race and fought a good fight, but her medical conditions got the best of her. Jannetta passed away in January 8, 2024.
She leaves behind her husband Rudy Councill, six beautiful children, De'Andre (Martina), Imani, Atia , Diamond, Jannetta, and Jakil. Two grandchildren Nova and late Santana. Jannetta had six siblings, Arlene, Mitzie, Donna, Johane, and De'Shawn, and Latoya. A host of niece's and nephews and many other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
Jannetta will lie in repose from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Celebration of her Life will start 1 p.m. Sunday, January 14, 2024 in the Elvin Vaughan Memorial Chapel, 1717 South Street in Franklin, VA 23851.
