Chester Staten, Jr., preceded in death by his father Chester Staten, Sr., mother Emma (Staten) Person and son Chester Uzzle, passed away on June 23, 2022. He leaves to cherish his memories his children Tenisha Harrison, James Uzzle, Antonio Trotter, Lowell Staten; three sisters Aretha Staten, Cassandra Staten, Betsy Staten; four brothers McKinley Freeman, Lorenzo Staten, Larry Staten, Michael Staten, Jr.; four grandchildren Jaylee Trotter, Reagen Beals, Micah Staten, Saynora McClain and a host of family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday July 9, 2022 at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Rosewood Ave in Franklin, Virginia 23851.
