Mr. Charles J. Blount-Truitt, 43, native of New Bern, N.C., transitioned peacefully Wednesday, January 15, 2025. He is predeceased by his grandparents Zilphia Blount, Anniebell Bryant, Lee Bryant, Lawrence Jones and three uncles. Charles is survived by his loving husband Michael Truitt, his parents Charles and Verleria Bryant, four aunts, two great-aunts, five uncles, seven sisters of heart, and a host of nephews, cousins, friends and two fur babies.

A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025 in the Elvin Vaughan Memorial Chapel located at 1717 South Street in Franklin, Virginia 23581.
